PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

Meetings are held by this Commission at City Hall on the FIRST Thursday of every month at 7:00  p.m. and Workshops are held if needed the Tuesday prior to the Regular Meeting.

 

This Commission consists of SEVEN (7) VOTING members appointed by City Council and one (1) NONVOTING member representing the Pinellas County School Board appointed by the Pinellas County School Board.  The term of office for the VOTING members shall be THREE (3) years, with no term limit for the NONVOTING member.  All VOTING members MUST BE RESIDENTS OF THE CITY and are appointed by City Council.

 

This Commission serves only in an advisory capacity and considers all requests for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code.  Their recommendations are forwarded to City Council for their final action .
