The Building Development Division and Business Tax Division is responsible for ensuring that new development and modifications to existing development in Pinellas Park is completed in compliance with City, State, Local laws and codes. The Building Development Division provides technical information to citizens, contractors, and developers regarding codes, ordinances, and other related issues. The Building Development Division is responsible for issuing Business Taxes for commercial businesses as well as home based businesses. We assist citizens and consumers by providing information on whether a business is properly licensed or regulated.
