Comprehensive Plan

A comprehensive plan is a community's blueprint as to how decisions are made, plans laid, and goals reached. Through the comprehensive planning process the Planning Division helps set the City of Pinellas Park's priorities in balancing growth.

The Comprehensive Plan long-range document with maps is the plan by which decisions are made about permitting development and infrastructure; and how much green space or parks the community wants to maintain, thus establishing guidelines for growth. It is the baseline by which the City of Pinellas Park can measure progress, and help the community keep an eye on the long-term vision while making day-to-day decisions. The Comprehensive Plan can be reviewed at the Planning Division or the Pinellas Park Library.
