Fire Department - Operations


suppressionThe Pinellas Park Fire Department Operations Division, under the direction of the Deputy Chief, is responsible for supplying services relating to suppression, emergency medical response, HAZMAT and Technical Rescue. In addition, the division handles research and development, planning, and oversees the fire explorer program.

 Pinellas Park firefighters respond to over 1,000 calls a month, and maintain an average response time of 4 minutes or less.

The department is responsible for protecting the lives and property of more than 63,000 people in our fire district of 26.1 square miles.
