Station_21

Station 21 is located at 11800 30th Court, a busy corridor near the on-ramp of Interstate 275.  The need for a station in this area was prompted by rapid population growth and an increase in call volume over the past few years.

Rather than build a new station from the ground up, the fire department is leasing 1,000 square feet of a 53,000 square foot building.  Plans for a permanent station are being considered for the near future. Station 21 operates 24 hours a day with an ALS Rescue Unit and two Firefighter/Paramedics.

With the addition of Station 21, the fire department now has five stations covering a 26 square mile fire district centrally located in Pinellas County.
