Captain John Green has been elected as the 2007 President of the Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Association.  He will serve as president for the next year over this multi-county organization.  John has been employed with the City of Pinellas Park for 25 years and is currently the division commander of investigations.  The Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Association meets monthly to discuss Law Enforcement and Legisilative issues that effect state and local law enforcement agencies in Central Florida.  Members include officials from most bay area Police Departments, Sheriff's Offices, Customs, Airport Security, FDLE, Florida Fish and Wildlife, Division of Alcohol and Tobacco, Secret Service, States Attorney Office, FHP, ATF, Stetson, and other educational institutions.
