Homeless Man Found Dead

Press Release 2007-005
Case # 2007-5429

On Sunday, February 18th, 2007, two local homeless people discovered the body of Michael Steven Mohon laying in the grassy lot of 6435 Park Blvd.  Investigators examined the body but did not discover any signs of trauma or obvious indications of cause of death.  The body was clothed and laying on the ground.  The body was removed and transported to the Pinellas County Medical Examiners office for further examination.

Michael Steven Mohon was 55 years of age, born November 23, 1951.  Police records show him living on the streets of Pinellas Park since 2004.  Police Records indicate that he was married to Cathy L. Mohon, who may also be homeless at this time.  The two of them may have moved here from Shepherdsville, Kentucky a few years ago.
