Burglary to The Flying Tomato

Police officers responded to 8801 66th Street N reference a burglary to a local restaurant called the Flying Tomato. A witness reported that the suspect was still inside the business. A K9 unit went to the front door and alerted the building. The suspect failed to come out so the dog was put into the building to search. The dog apprehended the suspect hiding in a corner of the building. The suspect was placed under arrest for burglary and taken to the hospital for treatment of a dog bite to the leg prior to being taken to the county jail.
