Three Armed and Masked Men Take Over and Rob Pharmacy
On Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at approximately 4:35 a.m., three armed men entered the CVS pharmacy at 7101 Park Boulevard and performed a takeover style robbery. The men were wearing all black clothing including head and face coverings. They were all described as white males and were all armed with handguns. The suspects entered the store and held two clerks at gunpoint while robbing the pharmacy area. The suspects demanded cash and controlled substances in the form of pain management narcotics from the pharmacy employee. The employees complied and the suspects fled on foot out of the store after being inside for a period of 3 to 4 minutes. Investigators believe the suspects likely ran to a vehicle parked north of the store.
Detectives are investigating the crime and are releasing photographs of the suspects from the incident. Anyone who thinks they may have information regarding this violent crime is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800-873-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward for information leading to an arrest.
