James Ritter was arrested for committing two armed robberies this morning. At approximately 6:27 AM Ritter went into the 7-Eleven store and demanded money from the clerk while armed with a knife. After taking cash, he left and went to the Storm Gas Station. There, he also demanded money from the clerk while displaying a knife. He then fled on foot and was seen by responding police officers. He was taken into custody without incident. At this time Ritter is charged with two counts of armed robbery and Violation of Probation. Ritter is also suspected in three other robberies occurring on July 16th, in Pinellas Park, all in the same general area of 49th Street and Park Blvd.
