At approx 1:55 PM, the Bank of America was held up by one lone suspect. He approached the teller and demanded all of the money in her teller drawer. Before he got any money, he fled out the South door. A bank employee followed him out the door, but lost sight of him few blocks away. A bank teller provided a description of the suspect to Pinellas Park police officers. Officers spotted the suspect in the area of 56th Street and 72nd Avenue North. He was taken into custody with no incident or resistance. Located on the ground next to the suspect was a Air pistol (.45 caliber handgun replica).
Suspect is in custody and will be transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
