Pinellas Park Police Department - General Police Activity
General Police Activity
Police Activity can be classified into three groups:
calls for service, traffic enforcement and community policing actions.
Calls for Service is any situation where an officer received information and:
a) wrote a report, b) cleared with an N/R or no report,
c) cleared as a back-up unit, or d) cleared as a follow-up
or supplement to an existing investigation.
Traffic Enforcement describes all vehicle stops and parking enforcement
no matter what the disposition. A traffic stop counts as one unit of enforcement.
Community Policing Actions include all self initiated area checks and crime prevention
activities.
