The City of Pinellas Park established a Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) in 1989 to encourage development, revitalize the central business area, and promote a dynamic mixed-use center. The CRA, through higher floor area ratios, increased density, and incentive programs, seeks to lay the foundation, and with the business community, build a vibrant and dynamic downtown. It also seeks to help the local business and homeowner re-invest in their property and offers grant programs to that end.
