The Agency membership consists of the elected City Council.

The Agency decides applications for site plans, Conditional Uses waivers and variances submitted for parcels located within the Community Redevelopment Area that would more typically be heard before City Council and/or the Board of Adjustment. The Agency does not have the authority to approve ordinances such as Rezonings or Land Use Plan Map amendments which remain the business of the City Council. Additionally, the Agency approves and annually submits to the State of Florida a budget and an annual report for the Agency's operations.
