To apply with the City of Pinellas Park Fire Department, you must have the following:
- Florida Firefighter Certification
- Florida EMT or Paramedic Certification (Paramedics must also be ACLS certified)
- CPR Certified (Health Provider)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Applicants who are offered a Firefighter position with the Pinellas Park Fire Department will be required undergo the following:
- Psychological profile
- Driving records check
- Physical examination, including drug screening
- Background check
