Through its dedicated staff, pictured above, the Neighborhood Services Department provides services in the areas of local government information, business assistance, community compliance (code enforcement), and neighborhood revitalization in an effort to improve the City's quality of life and economic vitality. The Neighborhood Services Department receives and responds to complaints of possible City Ordinance violations, and works with the community and City Departments and Divisions to achieve timely code compliance and resolution to community problems and concerns.
Programs administered by the Neighborhood Services Department include the annual APPLE Program (A Pinellas Park Learning Experience), the monthly Mayor's Business Visiting Program (BVP), ongoing neighborhood assistance requests, and Memorial Tree Programs. The Neighborhood Services Department also serves as Secretary to the following City Boards: Code Enforcement Board, Community Projects Advisory Board, and Special Magistrates.
