Police Investigating Mid-Morning Bank Robbery

On Thursday, February 3, 2011, shortly after 10:00 am a lone black male committed a robbery at the Wachovia Bank branch at 7100 US 19.  The suspect waited in line, then passed a note to the teller who complied with the demands. 

The suspect fled on foot, with an undetermined amount of cash, and was last seen northbound on foot in the parking lot.  He is described as:

  • Heavy set black male
  • Approximately 5'8" tall, 190 lbs
  • Long sleeve gray shirt with white writing on the front, white shirt underneath, dark colored pants, and black shoes
  • Dark baseball style cap with the Philadelphia Eagle's logo
