Pinellas Park Police were called to a pedestrian vs vehicle crash on Friday, Feb 4, 2011 at 1930 hrs.  A woman attempting to cross 66th Street was struck by a vehicle.  The vehicle did not stop and left the scene.

Before the crash, Fisher had been at a tattoo shop 9600 Block of 66th Street.  She left the shop and walked across 66th Street to a restaurant located in a shopping plaza.  After a short time she left the restaurant and headed back to the tattoo shop.  She walked across the SB lanes of 66th street, crossed the median, and then walked into the NB lanes of 66th street.  We believe she was struck by a NB vehicle in the center lane of 66th Street.  The vehicle left the scene.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a FORD and is some type of SUV.  The vehicle should be missing the right side mirror and casing, and also have damage to the right front including at least a broken yellow turn signal lens.  Vehicle color is unknown.  The vehicle could be light or dark colored as witness accounts differed in that regard.  We have no other information regarding the suspect driver, or vehicle type.

Victim was taken to Bayfront hospital where she died at 2236 hrs.  The victim was legally intoxicated at the time of the crash.
