Sexual Battery - Deadly Weapon

Police Detective Michael Lynch has charged James Blue with the September 20th, 2003 sexual battery of a St. Petersburg woman.  The victim was dragged behind a business located at 6190 45 Street in Pinellas Park with a knife to her throat where she was sexually battered.  Evidence recovered from the scene (DNA) was later linked to a 2008 case being investigated by St. Petersburg Police Department.  In January 2008, Clearwater Police arrested James Blue for sexual battery.  Because of this arrest James Blue's DNA profile was submitted to FDLE where it was matched to the Pinellas Park case and St. Petersburg case.  James Blue is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on numerous felony charges from three police agencies.
