Armed Robbery of LaQuinta Inn

On Sunday, October 3, 2010, at 12:55 AM, an armed suspect robbed the night clerk at the LaQuinta Inn at 7500 US 19.  The suspect entered through the front door acting as a customer.  Once inside, he produced a small silver semi-automatic handgun and threatened the clerk, and adult female, who complied.  The suspect fled out the front door.  The suspect was not located and remains at large with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a:

Black male, late 20's to early 30's, short afro, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build.  The suspect was wearing a long sleeve black tee-shirt and long, baggy, blue denim shorts.
