Pharmacy Armed Robbery
Location: Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 7751 49th Street N. On December 11, 2011 at approximately 2:10pm, a suspect jumped the counter and entered the pharmacy area of the Walgreens, located at 7751 49th Street N. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded narcotics from pharmacy personnel. After obtaining a determined quantity of narcotics, the suspect fled from the location. Pinellas Park Police Officers responded to the location and quickly established a perimeter and requested a police service dog respond for a search. A Pinellas Park Police K-9 Unit responded but after a search of the area, was unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white/male, 19-20 years of age, 5’08”, 175lbs. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, jeans, and a baseball cap. The suspect was last seen fleeing from the rear door of the business.
There were no injuries reported during the incident.
Anyone who may have witnessed the suspect in the area during or near the time of the robbery or anyone who may have information that would lead to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Section of the Pinellas Park Police Department at 727-541-0758.
