The Community Redevelopment Policing Unit is proud to announce the implementation of several grant programs which are geared towards improving the residential and commercial partners in our community.

Pinellas Park Community Redevelopment Area Accessibility Grant Program, this was established to encourage businesses to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This program will match businesses in the Community Redevelopment Area up to $ 3,000.00 to improve disabled accessibility and user friendliness.
Pinellas Park Facade Improvement Grant Program, this was established to encourage businesses to improve their business facades. These improvements will add to the sense of community and improve the aesthetics of the Redevelopment Area. Only businesses and apartment buildings are eligible for this program. The program will match businesses up to $ 10,000.00 per street frontage (up to a total of $20,000.00) to improve their facade and landscape.
Pinellas Park Small Business Assistance Grant Program, this was established to help small businesses within the Redevelopment Area faced with issues requiring financial assistance, to overcome unanticipated obstacles and impediments for the business. In addition this grant shall address interior enhancements to improve the health, safety, welfare, and atmosphere for the patrons and employees of the business. This is a match grant program up to $ 3,000.00. No more than three such grants will be awarded to any business in a five (5) year period.
Pinellas Park Homeowner's Improvement Grant Program, this was established to help property owners within the Redevelopment Area address health, safety, and welfare issues on their property and improve the overall aesthetic character, accessibility and user friendliness of the housing units and neighborhoods. This is a match program with a maximum amount of $ 3,000.00 in a single year and not to exceed $ 6,000.00 over the life of the program.
