The section is made up of the three specialized units; Traffic Unit, Police Services Dog Unit, and the School Resource Officer Unit. The section is supervised by a sergeant appointed by the Chief. Responsibilities of the section include traffic law enforcement, traffic crash investigations, traffic homicide investigations, DUI investigations, criminal suspect tracking and apprehension, drug detection and school patrols.
