Pinellas Park was established as a town back in June of 1914. Forty-five years later we established ourselves as a city on June 19, 1959. We are governed by a City Council and Manager. Our law making body is the City Council which consists of one (1) Mayor and four (4) Council Members elected at large and governed by the City Charter, and other State and County Codes. The City Manager oversees the day to day operations of the City and answers to the City Council.
