William E. “Ed” Taylor was elected to City Council in March 1998 and was re-elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010. Ed represents our City as a member of the Pinellas Park Water Management District (PPWMD). He has also represented the City on the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Board of Directors (PSTA), the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) and the Agency on Bay Management (ABM).


 His service to our community and the Tampa Bay area includes past President of the Pinellas Park Historical Society, member of Celebrate Pinellas Park, Inc., Pinellas Park Art Society, Friends of the Library, Pinellas Park Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Pinellas Park, Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce, Board of Trustees of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Diocesan Board of Catholic Formation & Education, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Knights of Columbus, O.T.H.E.R.S. of Morning Star School and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

A native of Tampa, Ed and his family have lived in Pinellas County since 1964. He is the owner of Taylor Family Funeral Home in Pinellas Park. He is married to the ever understanding & lovely Barbara and they have two sons, John & Bryan, a mostly disagreeable cat named Boulevard and three grandchildren, Landree and twins Lily Ann and Ella Grace.
