Division Chief Rob Angell
The Emergency Medical Services division provides advanced medical care to residents who suffer injuries or serious illness, stabilizes victims of cardiac failure or serious injuries and prepares them for transportation.
It provides an expanded training program of CPR and other life saving methods for residents as well as continuing training programs for paramedics to ensure that residents receive the most advanced and proven methods of care.
The Emergency Medical Services division is managed by the District Chief of EMS and is part of the Operations division of the Pinellas Park Fire Department. Fully staffed Advanced Life Support vehicles are housed at all city fire stations. The department responds to an average of 1,000 medical calls per month.
