The Artist Selection Committee is not a formal Advisory Board of the City of Pinellas Park, but was formed in early 2016 to assist the City of Pinellas Park and Pinellas Park Community Redevelopment Agency in artist selection for the new Studios at 5663 and Artist Live Work facilities.  The Committee is currently comprised of three members representing professional artists and arts-related businesses, and one representative of the City of Pinellas Park. The Committee reviews all studio and live/work artist applicants, and its recommendations are provided to City administration for review and approval.  

As of August, 2016, regular meetings of the Committee are scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month, subject to receipt of new applications for consideration; artist interviews are scheduled with applicants on an as-needed basis.
