Road Closure due to Police Officer Funeral

The following road closures will be in effect on Friday, January 28th, 2011 from 8:00 am until approximately 3:00 pm in anticipation of heavy vehicle traffic attending the memorial service for Sergeant Thomas Baitinger and Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz.

• Gandy Blvd. will be closed eastbound at I-275. for all thru traffic. Those attending the funeral will be allowed to proceed eastbound to the church. All other vehicles will be detoured onto northbound or southbound I-275.

• Gandy Blvd. will be closed westbound at Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. Those attending the memorial service will be allowed to proceed westbound to the church. All other vehicles will be detoured onto northbound or southbound Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.

• The exit ramp from northbound I-275 onto eastbound Gandy Blvd. will be open to all vehicle traffic. Those attending the memorial service will be allowed to proceed eastbound onto Gandy Blvd. All other traffic will be detoured westbound onto Gandy Blvd.
