Man Attempts to Rob Pharmacy

On Sunday, August 10, 2008, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a man attempted to rob the CVS Pharmacy at 7101 Park Boulevard. The suspect entered the store, walked to the pharmacy area and demanded specific narcotics, implying that he was armed with a firearm. The suspect had a bulge in the shape of a firearm, under his shirt, in the front waist area.

As the victim pharmacist was getting the narcotics, the suspect fled the store. A canine unit attempted to track the suspect with negative results.

The suspect is described as:

A white male in his 20's, approximately 5-10 tall with a medium build.

He was wearing:

A white baseball cap with a Yankee's emblem, a grey t-shirt over a white t-shirt, dark jeans, and black boots. He was also wearing a yellow bracelet on his right wrist.

Additional information, including photographs, will be released as it becomes available.
