Watering is Prohibited between the hours of 10:00 A.M. AND 4:00 P.M.

Properties (2) two acres or greater in size may water ½ on Thursday and/or Sunday and may water the remaining ½ on Wednesday and/or Saturday.

Hand watering and micro-irrigation of plants: (other than lawns) can be done on any day and any time. 

New Lawns and Plants:

On the day of installation, watering is allowed on any day at any   time.

During days 1-30, watering is allowed on any day during the allowable   hours.

During days 31-60, watering allowed three days per week.

  •   (Even numbered addresses – Add Tuesday)
  •   (Odd numbered addresses – Add Monday)
  •   (Mixed or No address – Add Sunday)

Fountains, Car washing and   Pressure Washing:

  • There are no specific restrictions on   fountains, car washing and pressure washing.
  • These and other water uses should be conducted   as efficiently as possible, such as using a shut off nozzle on each hose to   adhere to the general restriction prohibiting wasteful water uses.

The City of Pinellas Park monitors   water use. Violations of water restrictions or schedules may result in the   issuance of a Pinellas County Court Citation (City Code Section 10-128).

 To alleviate the risk of running out of reclaimed water, action is being taken to reduce daily system demands. Customers will have reclaimed water available three days per week for irrigation beginning April 1, 2016.

 On Mondays the Reclaimed Water System will be down for maintenance and storage level recovery.

 Please follow the watering schedule below for the remaining days based on your address.

New Rules include:

  • Water Ordinance: Watering is not allowed between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Reclaimed water is unavailable on Monday.
  • New lawn or plant material only may be watered on all available days during authorized hours for the first 30 days after installation and three assigned days for the next 30 days thereafter. Installation of new material shall be reported to (727) 464-4000 and proof of new material should be faxed to (727) 464-3717.
  • If you have questions, please call Utilities Customer Service at (727) 464-4000, or visit for maps of reclaimed water areas.
  • Reduce fertilizer use when irrigating with reclaimed water. 

Fines for Reclaimed Water non-compliance:

Notice of Violation issued for all observed violations of the reclaimed water ordinance.

More than three violations in a twelve month period may result in reclaimed water service being terminated.
