Vehicle One: Motorcycle: 2014 Suzuki DECEASED: James Paul Stewart, W/M, 32, Clearwater- NOK has been notified 

Vehicle Two: Cadillac: 2010 Cadillac SRX Cadillac Driver: Alek Michael Lupo, W/M, 18, Safety Harbor Cadillac Passenger: Deborah L. Blanton, W/F, 66, Pinellas Park 

On September 2, 2019, at approximately 7:26pm, officers located a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV. The driver of the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Through our investigation, we learned the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Park Blvd at a high rate of speed. A witness to the incident advised the motorcycle had been making numerous lane changes prior to the crash occurring. The Cadillac was traveling westbound on Park Blvd, completing a u-turn at 73rd St. The motorcycle operator laid down the motorcycle, sliding along the roadway and became ejected from the bike. The motorcycle rider, James Stewart, died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Cadillac remained on scene, cooperating with the investigation. No injuries were sustained to either occupants of the Cadillac during the incident. NOK notification is complete. There are no charges at this time however, this investigation is still active.
