What: Abuse of Disabled Adult When: August 20, 2019 

Where: D-Tec., 5251 110th Avenue N. #144 

Victim: Per Florida Statute 119.071(2)(h)1, no further information will be released that would identify the victim. 

What: On August 20, 2019 at approximately 2:45pm, officers responded to D-Tec, a licensed mental health day care facility, located at 5251 110th Avenue N #114 in reference to a battery. Officer's determined Kevnon Neal-Parker, an employee of the facility, battered a client who has been identified as an adult with a severe cognitive disability. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for his injuries that required stitches to close an injury to his head. 23 year-old Kevnon Saquan Neal-Parker was arrested and charged with Abuse of a disabled person. Neal-Parker is currently in the Pinellas County Jail; $10,000 bond.
