Finance Department

Responsibilities

The Finance Department provides overall direction and supervision for the Accounting, Purchasing and Utility Billing divisions.

Finance Department is responsible for: 

  • Working with the public, other agencies, committees and boards
  • Making and safeguarding City investments
  • Providing timely financial information to City administration
  • Plan sponsor for the City's 457 plans
  • Debt issuance and management
  • Debt collection
  • Coordinating the annual audit with an independent auditing firm
