WHERE: 9600 Blk Southbound 49th St N.

WHO:

ARRESTED:  Anthony Messina Jr. W/M DOB - 5/10/1990 from St. Petersburg

DECEASED: Jacqueline Hearns B/F DOB - 9/28/1964 from Pinellas Park

WHAT: On Saturday, December 11th, at approximately 11:30 PM, officers were
called to the scene of a crash in the 9600 Blk of southbound 49th St.  The
incident involved a motor vehicle and a bicyclist both traveling in the

Investigators determined Jacqueline Hearns was crossing 49th St on her

photograph of Anthony Messina has been attached to this release.

The second collision occurred in the northbound lanes of 49th St due to
traffic stopping for the initial crash.  A driver involved in the second crash
