The City of Pinellas Park will accept sealed responses until Thursday, 27 January, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. for RFQ 21/005.

The City of Pinellas Park is currently pre‐qualifying Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to submit pre‐qualification responses for Design/Build/Renovation services for the City of Pinellas Park Public Safety Campus located at 7700 59th St. North, Pinellas Park. Florida 33781.

This project entails the design, construction, renovation, and any/all necessary permitting to build the new City of Pinellas Park Police Station and renovation of the existing Police Station.

The City will hire a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) via Request for Qualifications (RFQ) first, and will then advertise a RFQ for Architect/Engineer services. The CMAR will advise the Architect/Engineer RFQ Selection Committee. The City will follow all applicable rules, regulations, and statutes to confirm an Architect/Engineer for use by the Owner and CMAR during the time of the project. Upon approval of an Architect/Engineer firm, the City, the CMAR, and the Architect/Engineer firm will work together closely to ascertain a mutually acceptable design concept. The CMAR and the Architect/Engineer firm will draw construction plans within the City’s budget. This project will consist of two (2) phases:

1) Design and construction of a new Police Station including design and construction of a HVAC chiller system in the proposed project plus future buildings.

2) Design and reconstruction of the existing Police Station into a new Fire Station on the first floor and administrative offices on the above floors.

Interested firms must pre‐qualify by submitting one (1) original and seven (7) copies of an AIA A305, “Contractor’s Qualification Statement,” required documents within the RFQ, and a cover letter requesting pre‐ qualification to the City of Pinellas Park, Purchasing Division, located at 8000 60th Street, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 by Thursday, 27 January, 2022 at 10:00 A.M.
