WOUNDED WARRIORS ABILITIES RANCH "ALIVE RIDE "

The Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch (WWAR) 6th Annual Bike Ride will be held
on
Wednesday September 1st 2021 at 9.00am. The "Alive" Ride will be a 13 mile
fun, easy
cycle ride through the City of Pinellas Park. Starting at Berts Barracuda on
10525 49th St
N, Clearwater. This fully police escorted ride will visit local schools and
businesses
allowing the children and general public to thank veterans from all conflicts
for their
service. AT 10.45am there will be a 2 Mile Parade through The Mainlands
Community.
The Ride will finish with a Lunch for all riders at The New Orange County
Choppers
Roadhouse Restaurant.

Many injured veterans will be taking part in the ride as part of the WWAR
mission to
inspire veterans to get OUT and ACTIVE.

Riders can sign up online at www.woundedwarriorsabilitiesranch.org on the
EVENTS
Page. Veterans and General riders are FREE to ride. They will get a Free T
Shirt , Goody
Bag and Lunch as well as refreshments on the ride.

With over 150 riders expected, the general public is encouraged to come down to
welcome the riders back at 11.00am at Berts Barracuda 10525 49th St N,
Clearwater or
along the ride route through the City. They will have a chance to meet and
greet and
thank these inspiring veterans as well as supporting a great local cause. Food
will be
available for purchase and a presentation about WWAR.

THE WOUNDED WARRIORS ABILITIES RANCH (WWAR)
In 2015, in partnership with the City of Pinellas Park, Mike DeLancey, A Marine
paralyzed by a sniper shot in Iraq 2006, formed his own not for profit
organization - The
Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch (WWAR) at Lurie Park. The Park is a fully
wheelchair adapted Park offering cycling trails, outdoor fitness stations, a
multi purpose
court for volleyball, basketball, rugby, baseball, bocce and tennis. Pinellas
Park will be
home to the organizations future Head Quarters, a central veteran resource for
all
adaptive sports and recreational facilities. WWAR will be a place that
inspires warriors
from all conflicts to get OUT and ACTIVE and strengthens the bond between
veterans
who understand each other's experiences, bringing the generations together
through
