PINELLAS PARK - The City of Pinellas Park will say goodbye to City Manager

Pinellas Park from 2004 to 2022 and after 46 total years of dedicated public
service. Following Mr. Lewis' departure, Assistant City Manager, Bart Diebold,
will be promoted to City Manager of the City of Pinellas Park.

Doug Lewis plans to enjoy his retirement by spending more time with his
family, including his 4 grandchildren, traveling with his wife, Darlene, and
doing a lot outdoor recreational activities. He will be greatly missed at the
City of Pinellas Park.

Incoming City Manager, Bart Diebold, will take over as the City Manager of the
City of Pinellas Park (1/28/22) upon Doug Lewis' retirement.  Bart Diebold
began with the City of Pinellas Park in November of 2013 as the Public Works
Administrator. Before that, Mr. Diebold was the Pinellas County Operations
Manager for 15 years. He was promoted to Assistant City Manager for the City
of Pinellas Park in December of 2020. During his career at Pinellas Park as
the Public Works Administrator he spearheaded the accreditation of the Public
Works Department by the American Public Works Association (APWA). This
accreditation is verification and recognition that the City of Pinellas Park's
Public Works Department applies the recommended public works management
practices. The benefits to this achievement are that the City will experience
increased operational performance, increased teamwork, reduced duplication of
work and wasted resources, reduced liability and lower insurance premiums.

Mr. Diebold is married to wife, Jennifer and has a daughter, Hannah (18). The
City is looking forward to his tenure as its City Manager.

Other promotions include Keith Sabiel Jr., formerly Leisure Services
Administrator to Public Works Administrator, and Angela Pietras, formerly the
