City of Pinellas Park Storm -Related Updates and Sandbag Operations Extended

PINELLAS PARK - In preparation for Hurricane Ian the City has opened its
Emergency Operations Center and are coordinating with Pinellas County and
other state agencies regarding storm-related issues. All City Offices,
Recreation Centers, Brush Site & Library will be closed on Wednesday,
September 28, 2022 until further notice. The Library will close at 6:00 pm on
September 26th, 2022 and at 5:00pm on September 27th, 2022.

All City Recreation Centers will be open Tuesday, September 27th until 5:00pm
and child pick-up is available until 5:30 pm.

On Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, sandbag operations will be at Helen Howarth
Park ONLY located at 6401 94th Ave N. Pinellas Park, FL. They will begin at
9:00 am and will be first come, first served until supplies last.  A Pinellas
Park water bill or valid Driver's license showing proof of residency will be
required to receive sandbags.

Normal trash service will be available Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. There
will be no recycling pick-up on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022.  More
information regarding trash service for Pinellas Park residents can be found
at wmfloridastorm.com.
