Our Stations

Pinellas Park Fire Department currently employs 70 on-line firefighters and 17 administrative personnel in five stations.

Firefighters work 24 hours on duty and 48 hours off on either A, B or C Shift.

A District Chief is assigned to each shift and is responsible for coordinating the crews and maintaining apparatus and equipment.

Station 16 provides fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical services to the southern region of our fire district and to Kenneth City through a contractual agreement.

Station 33 provides fire suppression, fire prevention, hazardous materials response, and emergency medical services to a large portion of the total fire service area. This station houses one of the City's aerial trucks, a rescue truck, a squad truck and a hazardous materials response unit. This station also serves as a staffing pool for the outlying fire stations.

Station 34 provides fire suppression, fire prevention, technical rescue response, and emergency medical services to an assigned portion of the total fire service area. This station houses an engine, a technical response vehicle, and a rescue truck. This station also houses reserve apparatus.

Station 35

Station 35 provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and emergency medical services to an assigned portion of the total fire service area. This station houses one of the City's aerial trucks, a fire engine, and reserve apparatus. Fire Administration and Life Safety personnel are located at this station. A District Chief, who acts as an on-duty shift commander, is assigned to this station.

Station 36

Station 36 is our newest station and was completed in early 2022 with the official ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony taking place on June 24, 2022. Station 36 provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and emergency medical services to the southeastern portion of Pinellas Park's fire service area.  Station 36 is home to Squad 36 - a combination fire engine and heavy rescue as well as a Lieutenant of Rescue unit which provides field supervision for emergency medical services.
