Information on Applying
- Interested candidates must submit a City of Pinellas Park Application for Employment. Applications are accepted for current vacancies only
- The completed Application must be received by the announced closing date
- Pursuant to Florida Public Records Law, all Applications are public records and are open for public review
- We expect that each applicant will have taken the time to complete all areas of the Application. Any information provided will be verified. Any applicant who omits or falsifies information or misrepresents him/herself, will no longer be considered for employment
- Only the top candidates will be contacted for an interview
- Applications of those not selected for a position will remain active for three months
Offers
Offers of employment are contingent upon the selected applicant passing the following:
- Testing as deemed necessary by the Department Administrator
- Physical examination which includes drug screening
Hired
Persons being hired by the City of Pinellas Park will be checked for the following:
- Drivers license check
- Criminal history record check
- Verification of previous and current employer(s)
- Verification of college degrees and required certifications
- E-Verify of presented employment eligibility identification
Persons hired by the City of Pinellas Park will be required to:
- Complete the Immigration and Naturalization Form I-9
- Take an Employee's Oath
- Have the required type of driver's license (if applicable)
