Reducing Floods Through Stormwater Management
Historically, the City of Pinellas Park has experienced flooding due to it’s proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. As such, our experience and focus has been with stormwater management in mind. Therefore, our efforts to reduce flooding extends beyond that of infrastructure improvements. Service to the community includes providing information regarding flooding and flood protection at the Public Library, on the City's website, and through our offices that deal with flooding, the primary being the Community Planning Division.
