Tim moved to Florida with his family at the age of ten.   He attended Pinellas County schools, graduated from Boca Ciega High School and attended St. Petersburg Junior College.  He is proud of his service to the community as a police officer and detective on the St. Petersburg Police Department and his16 years as Executive Director of Girls Incorporated of Pinellas.

Tim joined the city of Pinellas Park as Public Events Director in 2001. Later that year his duties were expanded to include media relations as the city’s public information officer. In October, 2001 Tim was promoted to Assistant Community Activities Administrator.  In March of 2008 he became Government Relations Administrator, serving as an advocate for Pinellas Park and its residents on a county and state level.  He retired from the city in 2016 and has continued to serve as a volunteer on the Citizens Budget Advisory Committee. 

Tim has served on various boards and commissions including the Florida Education and Employment Council for Women and Girls, The Board of Directors of Girls Inc. of Pinellas, 2-1-1 Tampa Bay Cares, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Suncoast, United Way, The Public Education Scholarship Foundation of Pinellas Park, Gasparilla Distance Classic Association, Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce, and Clearwater Cascade Mobile Home Park Board of Directors. He has served of the City of Pinellas Park Board of Adjustment and Citizens Budget Advisory Committee.

 Tim has received numerous awards for public service, including the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce Loyd Tingler Good Government Award, Citizen of the Year,  Pinellas Park Key to the City, Gasparilla Distance Classic Running Shoe Award and Girls Incorporated Ethel Connolly Advocacy Award.

Tim was appointed to City Council in May of 2023.

Tim and his wife Tracy have lived in Pinellas Park for 52 years. They have a grown son, Chris.
