Water leaks, sewer leaks & reclaimed water issues - NOTE: Public Utilities does not handle billing issues.
Public Utilities Performs skilled work in construction, maintenance of City's water and reclaimed water distribution system as well as the City's sanitary sewer system and related structures, equipment and buildings in addition to connections for residential and commercial properties.
The Reclaimed Water Division of Public Utilities first activated in fiscal year 1997/98. However, through public awareness programs and the City's long-term commitment to promote water conservation, residents and businesses are connecting to the reclaimed water as soon as it is available to them.
The Sewer Division of Public Utilities is responsible for the safe collection of the wastewater supply of the City to and from lift stations. Sewer lift station facilities transport the wastewater supply to regional treatment plants located in St. Petersburg and Pinellas County.
