The Pinellas Park Police Department has an authorized strength of 104 full time police officers. The Recruiting Unit is responsible for the recruitment and background investigation of all candidates who request consideration for employment as police officers.

Community Policing Unit
The stated purpose of the Pinellas Park Community Policing Unit is to afford accelerated police presence community.

Community Compliance
Community Compliance provides code enforcement services by receiving, responding to, and investigating complaints of possible City Ordinance violations.

Communications
The Communications Section is central to the police function. All police calls for the City of Pinellas Park are handled here

Records
The Pinellas Park Police Department's Records Division consists of a Sergeant, four (4) full-time civilian Administrative Clerks and two (2) part-time civilian Administrative Clerks. They are responsible for the accuracy, processing and maintenance of police documents, reports, crash reports and citations produced by police officers, and police detectives
