October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence can happen to anyone and it is present in every community, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, socioeconomic status, religion, or nationality. In the United States, over 10 million adults experience domestic violence annually. Please wear something purple on October 1st & October 21st to show your support for those who have been affected by domestic violence.
