The seasonal flu vaccine is important protection for anyone older than six months of age, but this year it’s especially important to get it. Flu and COVID-19 symptoms can be similar, but only the flu has a safe, effective vaccine readily available now.

The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) urges everyone to get their vaccine before Halloween at one of their Flu Boo events October, 20, 21, and 22.

This year, the annual Flu Boo vaccination clinics will be held at three locations over three days. Adults and children older than three can get flu vaccines at no cost without an appointment. Hours at these locations are 5-7 p.m.
