Can an Organization, Vendor, or Contractor commence a project, agreement or an event before providing evidence that the City's insurance & indemnification requirements have been met?

No, all Organizations, Vendors and Contractors must provide proof that they have met the City's insurance and indemnification requirements before proceeding with any event, project, or job on City property. The insurance limits are set forth through the Risk Management Division and must be reviewed and approved prior to the commencement of any event, project, or job. In order to prevent a delay in the start of a project, businesses are advised to make the proper arrangements early with their insurance provider.
