    AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is a volunteer-run program that offers free, individualized tax preparation to anyone but especially to those age 50+. AARP membership is not required. Please note that the library is not partnered with AARP, and librarians cannot provide in-depth tax assistance.

  1. Florida TCA Train Meet

    February 22, 2020, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Performing Arts Center

    The 2nd TCA Southern Division Train Meet & Show this winter in Florida will be held at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, located at 4951 78th Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33781. This facility is a relatively new building featuring carpeted floors and plenty of free parking, is handicap accessible and better yet, it is located within blocks of 2 train stores which will both be open on the day of the meet!

    Activities: door prize drawings for adults and children throughout the day; drag races; kids’ and families’ Scavenger Hunt; and kids’ play area

    Food: A food truck will be on site. Also there are several nearby restaurants.

    All available tables have been reserved by members so there will be plenty of trains for you to buy!

  2. Art Walk

    The Pinellas Arts Village is home to Swartz Gallery, Bottles Pub, the Studios at 5663, Painting with a Twist of Pinellas Park, Pompei Studios, Donnelly COVE, the Pinellas Park Art Society & Gallery & the Complete Sweet Shoppe. They open their doors for the Fourth Saturday Art Walk, and invite the entire community to come be part of the art!

  3. Night of Joy/Give-M-Shelter

    February 22, 2020, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ England Brothers Park

    Central Christian Church Hosts Night of Joy/Give-M-Shelter Concert at the England Brothers Park to Improve Homelessness Awareness PINELLAS PARK – Faith leaders, local churches and outreach organizations come together to provide awareness on homelessness in Pinellas County at this free event. Local Christian rock and blues bands including The Vanilla Beans, The Posse, Sevenfold and the Kelly Nunn Band will be performing from 4-8 PM. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs provided by the People Helping People organization with all proceeds going to support their efforts. Over 150 gallons of different kinds of soup will be served at this event. Those in need will receive free soup. An all-u-Can eat soup wrist band will be available for $5. There is fun for kids of all ages including a bounce house, s’mores pit and a petting zoo. A silent auction will be held and proceeds will benefit homeless in our community. All are welcome.

  4. Pinellas Park Art Society Free Make & Take Art

    Pinellas Park Art Society is part of the Pinellas Park Art Walk on the fourth Saturday of each month. Enjoy the opportunity to paint a free piece of art with a member of the Art Society and take home for a great memory!

  5. Firefighters' FREE Movies in the Park

    February 22, 2020, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ McDevitt Park

    When: Saturday, February 22nd Where: McDevitt Park (in conjunction with the 4th Saturday Art Walk & Free Make It & Take It Art at Park Station) Address: 7601 60th St. N. Cost: Free Admission Pinellas Park Firefighters Association L-2193 host the Free Movie in the Park for their Benevolent Fund by selling food, candy and drinks. The Benevolent Fund is used to help victims and families in our community throughout the holidays.
